FAQs

  • What ages can join Kid Creative Club?

Kid Creative Club is open to students in grades 3-5. Projects and instruction are always tailored to meet kids where they are, so beginners feel supported and more advanced students feel challenged.

  • Do kids need prior art or tech experience?

Not at all. Our programs are designed so kids can jump in at any level. We focus on building skills step-by-step, encouraging experimentation, and making sure every student feels confident trying something new.

  • What kinds of projects will my child work on?

Kids dive into both traditional art and modern creative tech. They’ll learn tools like Adobe Creative Suite for design, Logic Pro X for music, MadMapper and Resolume for projection mapping, and professional camera and editing software to bring their ideas to life.

  • How are the programs structured throughout the semester?

Families can choose a schedule that works best for them, whether once a week or multiple days. New creative focuses are introduced every few weeks, and each session builds toward a final showcase project.

  • What skills will my child learn beyond art and technology?

Our programs build communication, collaboration, empathy, and resilience. Kids learn how to respectfully give and receive feedback, manage creative challenges, and express themselves in ways that help them process emotions and build confidence.

  • What is the teacher-to-student ratio?

We keep our classes small with no more than 4 creatives per session, ensuring every child gets individual attention and guidance.

  • Where do classes take place?

All classes are held at my in-home studio space, designed to be safe, welcoming, and inspiring for young creatives.

  • What safety protocols and insurance coverage do you have in place?

We have secure check-in procedures, and parents are notified when their child arrives. Cameras or media projects require explicit parent or guardian permission before sharing work publicly. Kid Creative is fully insured with general liability coverage through Thimble. Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.

  • Is there a snack break?

Yes. We take a short break mid-class. I provide healthy, nut-free snacks, and parents are welcome to send their own if preferred.

  • What if my child misses a class?

We know life happens. If there’s room in another session that week, we’re happy to have your child join to catch up. If not, they can easily get back on track during their next class.

  • How do you communicate with parents during the semester?

Parents will receive a monthly email update with class highlights, upcoming projects, and important reminders. For quick questions, email is best: hello@kidcreativeclub.com.

  • How do I register and secure a spot?

Registration is online and spots are first-come, first-served. Once your form and payment are submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know before the first class.

  • What is your refund or cancellation policy?

Full refunds are available if you cancel at least two weeks before the program starts. After that, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. This policy helps us keep groups stable and creative momentum strong throughout the semester.

  • How does payment work?

Families can choose to pay monthly in advance or in full for the semester.

Monthly payments are due at the start of each month to hold your child’s spot. For families who prefer to pay for the full semester up front, we offer a 5% discount on total tuition. Paying in full also guarantees your child’s spot for the entire session and helps us maintain a consistent, focused creative community.

  • Interested in trying a class?

We offer limited drop-in sessions for new students based on availability. It’s a great way to experience the Kid Creative Club vibe before committing to the semester.
