About Kid Creative Club
My Story
At Kid Creative Club, we believe creativity is more than a skill. It is a way for kids to process the world around them. Art gives them a safe place to explore their ideas, express big emotions, and discover the confidence to share their voice. In an ever-changing world, having healthy outlets to work through feelings and experiences is essential. Creativity helps kids self-regulate, build resilience, and connect with others in meaningful ways.
Our time together is about more than making art. It is about building perspective, learning how to collaborate, and understanding that every single voice matters. When kids feel seen, heard, and supported, they carry that sense of belonging with them for life. That is the true heart of Kid Creative Club.
When I was a kid, music was my escape hatch. I’d listen to the same song on loop, watching full-blown movies play out in my mind. I’d write those scenes down, but the way I expressed them didn’t always follow the “rules.” The grammar. The structure. It chipped away at my confidence, and slowly, I started believing my ideas weren’t good enough. That kind of self-doubt has a sneaky way of showing up in other creative spaces, too. I stayed quiet. Stayed safe. Stayed small.
It took me years to learn what I now teach every kid who walks into my class:
Art isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection.
Once that clicked, everything changed. I realized how powerful it is to help kids see their value early on — before fear or judgment can take root.
That’s what Kid Creative Club is all about.
We don’t just teach storytelling, filmmaking, or podcasting, we create space for kids to explore, take risks, collaborate, and surprise themselves. It’s about voice. Confidence. Perspective. Play.
When students feel safe to express themselves, their ideas blossom. And that confidence doesn’t stop when class ends, it ripples into every corner of their lives.
Kid Creative is here to nurture that ripple, and celebrate the creator in every child.
